Before the Flashpoint event, Michael Holt tragically lost his wife in an accident. Guided by the Spectre, Holt learned about the Golden Age Mister Terrific, Terry Sloane, and was inspired to carry on his legacy as a Super Hero. Holt rose to prominence as the chairman of the Justice Society of America, fostering a friendly rivalry with Batman. However, post-Flashpoint, Michael Holt found himself stranded in the alternate reality of Earth-2, where he was captured by that world’s Mister Terrific, Terry Sloan, in a cruel twist of fate.
